Needle Felting or dry felting is a process in which wool fibers are agitated with a needle to interlock the fibers until they become matted together into a dense material called felt. This process allows artists to construct 3-dimensional objects of unlimited variety and when used on a support it can be used in place of embroidery, needlepoint, painting or rug hooking. Anyone can do it and it is a wonderful forgiving material. Join our virtual class to explore this exciting, versatile, emerging medium!
